This can happen in individual appointments or in treatments that include the whole family.

What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CST was developed by Dr. John E. Upledger in the 1970’s as a gentle, hands on, light touch therapy. It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Because CST is non-invasive it has virtually no negative side effects. CST supports the central nervous system so that the body can self-correct and heal naturally. Because it is so gentle it is effective at all stages in life and can be used prenatally, during the birthing process and postpartum for mom and baby, including lip and tongue tie and latching issues. It is also very effective with chronic conditions.

CranioSacral Therapy during conception, pregnancy and birth provides support for the mother and baby, relieves pain, stress and tension, emotional challenges, and many other conditions related to pregnancy and their effects on mother and child as the pregnancy develops. CranioSacral Therapy carried out on the baby at birth or within the first few days of life can potentially reduce a wide spectrum of health challenges. It has been effective for addressing problems with head shape and skull-bone override, tongue tie, babies with colic and breastfeeding issues. Many mothers notice an immediate improvement in breastfeeding after baby’s first treatment. CranioSacral Therapy supports the mother and family in adjusting to life with a new baby and has been shown to be effective with postpartum depression. CranioSacral Therapy continues to support families at all stages of life.

Rhonda Lynn is available Sunday through Thursday for daytime and evening massage and/or CranioSacral Therapy appointments.
